Warmly Welcoming Bob Heywood to Our Grayson Trade Team.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Bob Heywood as our new Procurement Manager here at Grayson Trade. Bob brings an impressive 39 years of experience as a Senior Buyer to our team, and we’re confident that his wealth of knowledge and expertise will significantly benefit our projects.

Throughout his career, Bob has demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to driving continuous process improvement. He has successfully worked with both small and large teams across a range of roles in the industry.

Bob’s professional experience includes tenures at Green Square Accord Ltd, Bouygues UK Ltd, Ereconomic Construction Ltd, Adonis Construction Ltd, Interclass Plc, Derngate Construction Ltd, and Wates Construction Ltd. His diverse experience spans various sectors, including health, education, and private, making him a valuable addition to the Grayson Trade team.

In his previous roles, Bob has been involved in pre-tender procurement, post-contract procurement, and measurement and benchmarking procedures. He is adept at handling various contracts, such as negotiated projects, 2-stage D&B, procurement by best value, and less traditional BQ JCT contracts.

Bob has a deep understanding of construction materials, processes, and general construction practices related to procurement.
